CUNY Policies and Support

GC Policy on Incomplete Grades (https://www.gc.cuny.edu/student-handbook)
Continued registration and most financial aid awards are conditional upon satisfactory progress. If work is not submitted within one calendar year (or earlier campus deadline) of the end of the semester in which an incomplete (“INC’’) grade is given, it will become a permanent “FIN” grade (Failure due to incomplete), calculated as an “F” in your GPA. Turn in all work on time, and you will never have to worry about this policy.

Avoiding and Detecting Plagiarism (http://www.gc.cuny.edu/CUNY_GC/media/CUNY-Graduate)
Center/PDF/Policies/General/AvoidingPlagiarism.pdf Includes copies of the Graduate Center Policy on Academic Honesty and the CUNY Policy on Academic Integrity. Also discusses the subtleties of how to paraphrase and integrate sources into your own research while giving credit where credit is due (e.g., how to refer to ideas in lecture notes and other informal communications).
